Professional Contemporary Theatre

Savannah Rep produces professionally executed contemporary plays, new works, and innovative musicals that push theatrical boundaries. Recent seasons have featured acclaimed contemporary works including 'Tiny Beautiful Things' by Cheryl Strayed/Nia Vardalos, the musical 'Once,' 'The 39 Steps,' and other thought-provoking modern theatrical pieces.

Artistic Leadership

The theatre is led by Founder & Managing Director Jenn Bishop and Producing Artistic Director Natasha Drena, with Education & Outreach Director Justice Maxey leading community programs. This professional leadership team brings vision and expertise to every production.

Season Structure

The Rep's season runs September through May with 3-4 mainstage productions. Productions run for limited 2-3 week engagements, creating urgency and exclusivity for each show. Performances take place at various venues throughout Savannah, including Vintage Events Center and other intimate performance spaces.

Subscription & Ticketing Options

Flexible subscription options include Flex Packages (choose 3, 6, or 10 tickets to use throughout the season), Opening Night Subscriptions (attend every premiere), and major donor benefits with complimentary season access. This flexibility allows patrons to customize their theatre experience.
